Getting into town from the airport Special taxis You can book a taxi from the prepaid taxi counter which charges a nominal fee for air-conditioned and non-ai conditioned vehicles. Regular taxis and Rickshaws: Outside the Airport you can get regular taxis and rickshaws, however they are not metered and you are required to barter the price (before) stepping inside for the ride.
Out-of-Pune Taxi service: You can hire a taxi to Shirdi or Mahableshwar directly from the Airport.
Buses: The most economical way to reach the city is by the bus service run by ex-army men. The ticket costs are low and they generally co-inside with flight times. The tickets for this service are available at their counter which is adjacent to the prominent BPL Mobile stall.
